[They watch more than once, disbelief turning into laughter at the second viewing. It dims to a grin as they toss it back to him.]

[Their expression brightens even further. Clearly a good sign, certainly.]

If remembrance were thought I'd a witless fool.

But please, see for yourself. [They wanted to see this reaction.]

[ Good. He's glad of that. So he takes the telescope gladly enough, peering into it. ]

... Huh. I certainly seem confident?

[ He's less certain okay. ]

[Aw.]

A good look for you, indeed.

A shame though, I'd have hoped for a hint about our enemies.

[ Hrmm. He taps at his chin for a moment, thinking hard. ]

Well I don't remember any they could apply to at the moment. Unfortunately?

Mm. I wonder what is worth the sacrifice myself, but I imagine I'll see.

[They tilt their head. They'd watched their own enough times to see it perfectly play in memory.]

[ Good. Miles brightens, then, glad to have someone else on the same page. ]

Wanna go searching for some answers then?

[They grin.]

More than anything. [They set the telescope down and set of off towards the thick set green door leading out.]

[ And out they go. It doesn't take long at all to encounter other teams out and about, of varying shapes and sizes and colored tunics. Some are friendly, while others take one look at their colors and grimace. No one attacks on sight, though, since Lacerta is reasonably popular ...

Miles, however, looks up at the array of people in some dismay. By the time they've made a circuit his neck is sore. ]

[The introductions, warnings and flood of informations painted an ominous picture, but not a hopeless one.]

Well - we could try striking up an alliance. Everyone made it sound like we were overdue for one of those games.

Temporarily at least. We need to understand what we are doing and what everyone else is capable of... for now, everyone is an equal risk and benefit.
